Fostering program 1

Sign Up to Foster Today!

Become a Foster Home!

The Animal Protective Foundation is always in need of volunteers willing to (temporarily) welcome dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, and small animals into their homes as foster pets! While we work hard to provide all of the care, medical attention, exercise, and enrichment possible to the animals in our care, some animals still struggle to feel comfortable in the shelter environment. Many animals who would be friendly, happy, and healthy in a home environment can become shut down, fearful, or stressed in the shelter, making it difficult for potential adopters to see their true personalities and potential. Foster homes can help bridge that gap, allowing animals to thrive in a temporary home and show their true personalities! Read on to learn more about the requirements to become a foster volunteer or click the "Fostering Program" link above to view our animals currently seeking foster placement!
