Welcome to the Green Squirrel Volunteering Portal

We are always seeking new people to join our team and help our green community hub, Railway Gardens, thrive. You'll be joining a friendly, welcoming team where your skills and experiences are valued.

On this page you'll find all our current volunteering opportunities. We understand that not everyone is able to make a regular commitment, so you'll find plenty of casual ways to volunteer, as well as regular roles.

If you'd like to volunteer with us please click the 'Fill in an application' button to get started.

We'll ask you a few simple questions to help us get to know you and better understand what you'd like to get out of volunteering with us. Once we've taken a look at your application we'll send you a Welcome Email with your next steps.

👋 Would you like some extra help to sign up and use the portal?

Family Nature Club

Many families in the Splott area lack access to gardens or green spaces, so a club to explore, enjoy and appreciate nature is so important - we have been told by families that Nature Club is the highlight of their week! Our family Nature Club runs after school every Wednesdays in term time and we're always seeking new people to join the team - it's loads of fun!
