Volunteers fill a number of roles at Jones Park. If you enjoy the outdoors, like working with people, or have a special skill, consider becoming a Jesse Jones Park Volunteer (JJPV)! Training is provided as needed and no previous experience is necessary.
Volunteer Goals:
- To support Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center by assisting in the recruitment and training of volunteers,
- To help educate children and the general public in natural and pioneer history,
- To assist with the construction and maintenance of park trails and facilities,
- To raise funds to help support the programs and development of the park, and
- To provide support and assistance when requested by the park staff in any other area of endeavor in the park or relevant to the operation of the park.
