Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center

Assist in the development and maintenance of park facilities including the Redbud Hill Homestead, Akokisa Indian Village, trails, kiosks, and more. Help control invasive, non-native plants as well as conduct routine trail maintenance and litter patrol of the park’s irrigation channels and creek bank. Join the volunteer Adopt-A-Trail or Invasives Beware groups to keep the park’s trails free from invasive plant species. Conservation and maintenance projects are available to scouts and other groups.

Skills required: Working on own or with a group, ability to follow instructions, walk on uneven ground, and work with hand tools; bending, light lifting, working outdoors.
