Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center

Help with the care of the landscaped grounds, homestead garden and greenhouse. Take part in replanting areas of the park with native vegetation. Activities include seeding wildflower, planting trees, potting plants, watering, pruning and weeding. Consider adopting a flower bed either solo or with a group.

Skills required: Walking, bending, working outdoors. Knowledge of gardening and native plants helpful.

Benefits: Beautifying the park’s landscape, working with plants, enjoying social aspects of gardening with staff and other volunteers. Lots of appreciation!
