Nature Tour Guide
Lead school-aged children, seniors or other small groups on a one-half to one-mile interpretive walk on the park’s nature trails pointing out interesting natural features such as the cypress ponds, native trees, birds and animal signs.
Skills Required: Ability to walk on paved, but uneven ground, relate some natural history facts and features, engage audience, answer questions on limited basis. Guides are not expected to know all the answers!
Benefits: Sharing a love and knowledge of nature, educating youth about the environment and preservation of natural resources, interacting with members of the community, impacting the future.
