BCIMS is a non-profit volunteer organization that runs mostly through the efforts of community members. We seek to integrate mindfulness into our volunteer work, and we see volunteering as as an opportunity to practice mindfulness with like-minded people.
If you have attended previous BCIMS retreats, please consider extending your practice by volunteering. As a valued volunteer, you will attend Short Non-Residential retreats free of charge and connect with teachers and other volunteers. You will be invited to volunteer events and activities and experience the positive benefits which come from working with other dedicated people in service of the dharma. This is a wonderful way to meet people in our community.
