In-Person Short Retreats (UBC Asian Centre) - On-Site Volunteers
Volunteers in this category set up and take down the hall for the retreat Various tasks are assigned throughout the retreat from Friday afternoon to late Sunday afternoon. Under the direction of the Retreat Manager and Volunteer Coordinator, volunteers in this category provide assistance before, during and after a retreat. In addition to setting up before the retreat and packing up afterwards, you will be involved with other tasks which may include:
- Putting out chairs for 50-120 attendees
- Lifting large risers for the teachers stage
- Putting up signage
- Teacher's lunch
- Light cleaning
- Attendee check-in (requires a mobile phone or tablet)
