Get Ready for a Life-Changing Volunteer Experience! 

Requirements of our Onboarding Process

JourneyCare requires that all adult volunteers (age 16+) attend a 5½ orientation session that covers Hospice 101, Overview of JourneyCare, Our Services and How You Can Help, Customer Service, Patients’ Rights/HIPAA and Documentation. You’ll also hear from several current volunteers. Training will also include online courses. Applicants must get a 2-step tuberculosis (TB) test, receive clearance from a medical practitioner, provide two personal references (non-relatives) and submit to a background check.
