Veterans Program
We are well-known for our innovative services—a fantastic example being the way we honor and support our veterans. On Memorial Day and Veterans Day, we host dozens of meaningful memorial services at our partner facilities.
Our agency also has a "pinning program," where volunteers (who are veterans themselves) facilitate a short, but very moving ceremony for hospice patients. With patriotic music playing, the volunteer will recite a brief reading—tailored to the appropriate military branch—and award a service pin to the patient, thanking them for their service to our country.
