Bereavement / Grief Support
Bereavement volunteers help provide an extra layer of support and care to adults and children coping with a loss. Volunteer assignments in this program are many and varied, ranging from assisting with phone calls and mailings to connecting personally with bereavement clients through support groups and other programs.
Other initiatives that need volunteer assistance include Camps and various programs designed to support grieving children, as well as our periodic community memorial services that take place throughout our service area.
