We're Excited to Welcome You to Our New Volunteer Platform!

Thank you for your continued support of PATH and for being an important part of our volunteer community. Your generosity, compassion, and dedication help us provide critical support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. We are truly grateful for the time and care you share with our community.

To streamline your volunteer experience and make it easier to discover opportunities, track your involvement, and stay connected with us, we are transitioning to a new volunteer platform: VolunteerHub. We would love for you to continue volunteering with us, and we've outlined the simple onboarding steps below.

Step 1: Create Your VolunteerHub Profile

Your first step is to activate your VolunteerHub account by creating your volunteer profile.

Step 2: Complete the PATH Volunteer Waiver

Once you've created your VolunteerHub profile, you'll be prompted to review and sign the required PATH Volunteer Waiver directly within your account.

After you've completed your VolunteerHub profile, signed the volunteer waiver, and attended orientation (if you have not already done so within the past year), you'll have full access to browse and register for available volunteer opportunities through the VolunteerHub portal.

Whether you're helping prepare donations, supporting community events, or assisting at one of our sites, your volunteer service helps create stronger communities and provides hope for the people we serve. We look forward to continuing this important work together.

ONGOING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

WELCOME HOME KITS: Every week, PATH moves dozens of Angelenos off the streets and into homes. You can help these new residents feel safe and comfortable in their new home by providing a "Welcome Home Kit" filled with basic home goods, kitchen items, and cleaning supplies. Welcome Home Kits are critical to help our neighbors start their journey of having a new place to call home! Please check out our Welcome Home Wishlist to help support!

Urgent Needs:

• Bedding
• Home goods (laundry hamper, bathmat, shower caddy)
• Kitchen items (pots & pans, dishes, utensils)
• Hygiene items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste)
• Cleaning supplies
• Target gift cards

*For health and safety reasons, all Welcome Home items must be new & unopened*

DONATION SORTING: Lend a hand to PATH Community Affairs staff by signing up for a donation sorting shift at PATH Metro Villas! By volunteering in this way, you can be a part of PATH's essential donation program that receives donated items from all around LA County. This volunteer experience involves receiving, sorting, organizing, and distributing donated items. These donations may be hygiene items, home goods, food, clothing, and more. We accept it all and do our best to make sure each donated item goes to an individual or family affected by homelessness in our community. You can sign-up for this opportunity through your Better Impact account. The following are available shift times: 

• Tuesdays 10am-12pm & 12:30pm-2:30pm
• Thursdays 10am-12pm
