Apply to Volunteer

Volunteers are at the heart of the National Trust of South Australia, helping to preserve heritage places, care for collections, share stories, welcome visitors, support events and maintain historic gardens and buildings. Whether you enjoy working with people, researching history, getting your hands dirty outdoors or helping behind the scenes, there are opportunities to suit a wide range of interests and experience levels.

Our volunteers play a vital role in connecting communities with South Australia's heritage. Training and support are provided, and we welcome both regular and project-based involvement. Don't see a role that matches your skills? We'd still love to hear from you. Contact volunteers@nationaltrustsa.org.au and tell us about your experience, interests or ideas for contributing.

All National Trust volunteers must have a Working With Children's Check and Police Check, which are free to obtain once registered with us.
