Help bring history, heritage and community to life by supporting events, open days, exhibitions, talks, tours and special functions. Events volunteers assist with welcoming guests, setting up and packing down spaces, visitor support, ticketing, catering assistance and helping create a positive experience for everyone who attends.
Skills and qualities: Friendly and approachable, confident communicating with the public, reliable, adaptable and happy to work as part of a team. Great for people who enjoy meeting others, being involved in community activities and contributing behind the scenes.
What to expect: Events work can be varied and fast-paced, with no two events the same. Some roles involve standing for extended periods, light physical tasks and weekend or evening activities. We're always looking for enthusiastic people who can help us deliver memorable experiences at our heritage places.
