Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of those affected by dementia? Erskine Care Home in Gilmerton, Edinburgh, is looking for compassionate individuals with an interest in dementia to join our team as Volunteer Companions for our Dementia Café.

Erskine is committed to providing specialised care, and we are seeking volunteers to support our Dementia Café, creating a warm and supportive environment for both residents and their families.

****The Erskine Motor Bike Meet 2024 tbc****

Erskine need your help to support our annual Erskine Motorbike Meet and help raise vital funds for our Veterans. We are looking for volunteers to help with setting up, selling raffle tickets, collecting donations and running the Erskine Stands!

Could you volunteer for 2 hours (or more!) between 11.30pm and 5pm on a Sunday in May 2024?

****The Ideal Home Show Scotland 2024****

Erskine are delighted, to once again be Official Charity Partner of the Ideal Home Show Scotland. We need your help to support this event and help raise vital funds for our veterans. We are looking for volunteers to help with bucket collections and running the Erskine stand during the four days of the Show.

The ideal opportunity to attend the event FREE, whilst supporting Scotland’s leading Veterans charity. Would you be able to help us for 2 hours between 10.00am & 5.00pm? (You are welcome to do more than one shift if you wish!) In return for you giving up your time you will receive free access to the Show!

The Erskine Edinburgh Home (EEH)

Erskine Edinburgh Nursing Home opened in 2002 and is situated in Gilmerton in the heart of the local community. The purpose built care home provides nursing and dementia care, both long term and respite, for 40 residents on a 24 hour basis.

A wide range of services is available to all residents. We actively encourage them to participate in events that are appropriate for their ability but individuals are always free to make their own choice.

The Erskine Home (EH)

Erskine Home in Bishopton opened in 2000, and is situated in picturesque grounds by the Erskine Bridge. This purpose built home, provides nursing and dementia care, both long term and respite, for 180 residents on a 24 hour basis.

The wide range of services provided are complemented by the popular Royal Scots Shop, Harry’s Cafe and nearby Garden Centre and Coffee shop.
