From here you'll be able to manage your volunteer profile with us, apply for roles you may be interested in or contact the Voluntary Services Team here at Dorset County Hospital.
Once you have joined our team, you'll then be able to view shifts or roles you are assigned to, and in time, you'll also be able to complete or update your Induction and refresher training when this is due.
We are currently recruiting for our Young Volunteer Programme for volunteers aged 16-19 years old. Please contact volunteering@dchft.nhs.uk for details of shift availability prior to completing an application form.
Volunteers at DCH provide invaluable support as part of the Patient Experience team. We value our volunteers and with volunteering now firmly embedded as part of the NHS long term plan, we are striving to ensure that we can offer a great volunteer experience. We have a variety of volunteering opportunities and roles on offer and our dedicated Volunteer Support Team will support you to find the right role, guide your through the recruitment process and make sure you are provided with the training necessary for you to undertake your volunteer role.
