The Women’s Centre of Calgary is one of the few women’s resource centres in the province of Alberta. We work with a unique peer model, where women are recognized as the experts in their own lives, and volunteers work as women helping other women. We offer various programs and workshops, basic needs assistance, peer support, and an informal social space where women can socialize and build long-lasting community. Women can also learn about social issues and work for social change through our Work for Change program.

All volunteer positions are during open hours. We do not offer any volunteer positions on the weekend.

Unless otherwise stated in a posting, our volunteer positions are open to women and gender-diverse folks who are 18 years old or older.

If you are an organization, agency or other workplace interested in multiple staff members volunteering, and for general group volunteering opportunities; please email us at volprog@womenscentrecalgary.org.
