HF - Adult Recreation Programs
Volunteers in our recreation programs partner with staff to help build skills and confidence of our members during our drop-in sports programs or instructional programs. They also help run games by acting as referees, score keepers and helping with setup and take down of programs.
Adult programs volunteers roles include:
- Drop-in program
- Instructional program
- Individual conditioning
Time Commitment

Flexible hours with minimum commitment of three months
Qualifications
- Minimum age 13.
- Volunteers 18 years of age or older will need to provide a Vulnerable Sector Screening from their local police service before their first day of volunteering and every three years on the anniversary of their first day of volunteering.
- Knowledge and experience of recreational sports.
- First Aid/CPR an asset.
- Leadership experience.
- Strong communications skills.
- Team player and able to take initiative.
