Volunteer Opportunity – Cancer Services Support (Barwon Health)

Join our team of compassionate volunteers and make a difference in the lives of people affected by cancer.

Barwon Health’s Cancer Services Department is seeking caring and dedicated volunteers to provide social, emotional, and recreational support to patients, families, friends, and carers. Your presence and support can help create a welcoming, positive environment and ensure patients feel cared for beyond their medical needs.

Volunteer Role Highlights:

• Provide companionship, emotional and social support to patients and their loved ones.

• Help create a warm and welcoming environment in Cancer Services areas.

• Enhance the patient experience by offering recreational and wellbeing activities.

Special Interest Volunteer Opportunities:
We are especially interested in volunteers who can share their skills and passions in:

• Gardening

• Cooking

• Games & Trivia

• Music (singing or instruments)

• Professional Hairdressing

• Massage (qualified experience preferred)

When: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
