PATH Cooks

PATH Cooks is a volunteer program that provides meals to our residents in interim housing. Each year, PATH spends more than $200,000 on food for the people we serve. When groups sign up to provide meals, it helps PATH focus its resources on providing housing and support services for our residents.

This opportunity is for groups who are interested in both preparing and serving their own meals. If you prefer to assist kitchen staff, please view our "Kitchen Support" opportunities.

The serving times for each meal is as follows:

  • Breakfast 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM
  • Lunch 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
  • Dinner 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Cooks may arrive earlier as needed (45 mins - 1 hour) for required preparation time.

Group Size: 10-15 volunteers (all volunteers must be at least 18+ to come on-site).

Location: Yale Navigation Center
                2229 S. Yale St
                Santa Ana, CA 92704

Budget: Costs vary depending on a group’s capacity and menu. Plan to serve about 200-250 meals.
