Care Kits for OC
Care Kits for OC
Help PATH build relationships with our neighbors experiencing homelessness. This a perfect opportunity to get a group together and get directly involved in making a difference! This opportunity would involve you or your group hosting a drive or purchasing hygiene items and non-perishable snacks, and then assembling the items into 1-gallon sized plastic bags.
Group Size: 4 - 15 volunteers
Location: Kits can be assembled on-site or off site at a location of your choice.
Budget: Costs vary depending on a volunteer’s capacity. Care Kits typically include the following: travel sized hygiene items, socks/underwear, and non-perishable snacks.
Urgent Needs:
- Hygiene items (ex. deodorant, razors, feminine products, soap, shampoo)
- Laundry items (ex. laundry detergent, dryer sheets, bleach, stain remover)
- Socks and clothing
- Blankets
- Non-perishable snacks & bottled water
- At-home activities for adults (ex. books, crafts, and art supplies)
For health and safety reasons, all Care Kit items must be new & unopened.
Drop-off Location: Care Kits are accepted at either our Placentia or Yale Navigation Centers. Drop offs must be scheduled in advance.
