You will find active volunteer opportunities listed below in the following areas:
Invasive Species Control: If you are interested in volunteering with the City to help control non-native invasive species, target invasive plants include Garlic Mustard, Periwinkle, Wintercreeper, English Ivy, Burdock, and Bindweed. Volunteering sites are chosen by City staff based on target plant presence and safety, and will be shared with volunteers of the program.
Tree Planting: If you are interested in contributing to our One Million Trees program, you can register any native trees that you plant on your property using the form below: https://www.mississauga.ca/services-and-programs/forestry-and-environment/trees/one-million-trees/tree-planting-form/
