Join us on Global MND Awareness Day as we honour those living with Motor Neurone Disease, acknowledge the challenges they face each day, and recognise their strength and resilience. We will also pay tribute to those who have lost their lives to MND, ensuring their legacies continue to be remembered. This special day brings the MND community together in a visible show of support as we plant cornflowers and release butterflies in a shared moment of reflection and hope.
About the Role As a Volunteer Event Assistant, you will play an important part in supporting guests as they participate in the cornflower planting and butterfly release. You’ll be involved from set-up through to pack-down, helping ensure the morning runs smoothly and creating a warm, welcoming experience for all attendees.
Important: This is an outdoor event. Please come prepared for time in the sun—wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes, slip slop slap, and bring a hat.
