Calling all Male Green Thumbs who have a great sense of humour and love a laugh! 
 
We're looking for someone who enjoys gardening and wants to use their skills to make the life of someone living with Motor Neurone Disease a little brighter – all while sharing a laugh!

 
About MND Queensland: 

MND Queensland is a leading organisation wholly focused on supporting people living with Motor Neurone Disease and their families, friends, and carers. 

We offer understanding and practical assistance by delivering information, education and specialist support services. 

About the volunteer role: 

Your gardening skills will directly support our client living with MND in Moore Park Beach. As a Volunteer Gardening Assistant you will support a person living with Motor Neurone Disease to keep their garden tidy while providing social companionship. 

About the role:

• Visiting the client’s home at Moore Park Beach
• General gardening including weeding and tidying up

About you:

• Must be Male
• Have a sense of humour and enjoy a laugh
• Physically fit and enjoy being outdoors
• Have own transport to Moore Park Beach
• Have basic gardening skills
• Reliable
• Passion for helping others and making a difference
• Current holder of, or willing to apply for, NDIS WSC (Yellow Card)
