Student Placement - Student Placement

MND Queensland accepts Student Placements on a case by case basis.

Gain valuable real-world experience supporting people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) through a student placement with MND Queensland.

As part of our passionate team, you’ll gain insight into how a health-based not-for-profit operates while contributing to meaningful work that directly impacts the lives of our clients and their families. This placement offers a unique opportunity to work alongside our experienced Allied Health team, including Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists and Physios who specialise in supporting individuals with progressive neurological conditions.

Students will have the opportunity to:

  • Observe and assist in the delivery of client-centred care and support.
  • Learn about the range of assistive technology and equipment used to help people with MND maintain independence and quality of life.
  • Develop practical understanding of service delivery in a community health and not-for-profit setting.
