Wellbeing Centre
Wellbeing Centre Volunteers work in pairs and assist in either of these two roles:
Material Aid
- Provide required material aid to clients who present in the foyer. Material aid includes towels, clothing, and underwear and toiletry items.
- Restocking material aid shelves with toiletries, towels, underwear, socks, blankets
- Sorting client mail and updating client mailing list on computer
- Ensure the Wellbeing Centre Booth is kept clean and free of clutter
- Ensure kitchenette is kept clean and tidy
- Assist with morning tea preparations and clean up
Laundry Volunteers
- Assist clients with washing and drying laundry and ask that clients come back to collect laundry before closing time.
- Ensure the laundry areas are kept clean and tidy
- Ensure the courtyard area of the Wellbeing Centre is kept clean and tidy
