Pastoral Care
A Pastoral Care Volunteer reports to the Pastoral Care Coordinator and provides wellbeing support to clients visiting the Wellbeing Centre. Responsibilities include:
- Providing support to current HSC clients by offering attentive listening and assisting them to access items they may need
- Providing an opportunity for clients to talk about their challenges and refer them to services or assist in finding resources as appropriate
- Providing an opportunity for the client to talk about their spiritual journey
- Feedback to case workers relevant information which will assist in client care
