Seedy Saturday - Join the Volunteer Team!

Seedy Saturday is a community event celebrating seeds, gardening, pollinators, sustainable local foods and nature!
Sign-up to support this event at the Brick Works on Saturday March 7 from 9:00am-2:00pm.

Join us for our much-awaited Seedy Saturday, happening on Saturday, March 7 from 9am to 2pm at Evergreen Brick Works!

It will be a lively day dedicated to seeds, soil, and community connection, happening alongside Toronto’s largest year-round Farmers Market. At Seedy Saturday, visitors can take part in a free seed exchange, browse the garden tool free market (bring garden tools and accessories to share, or take what you need), and connect with local non-profits, community groups, and gardening-related businesses. Whether you’re a seasoned grower or just getting started, from balcony planters to backyard beds, this is a chance to learn from knowledgeable growers and organizations, ask questions, swap stories, and pick up practical tips for the growing season ahead.

Everyone is welcome to cultivate a shared passion for gardening and sustainable living.

🌱 At Seedy Saturday visitors will be able to:

  • Swap seeds at our Free Seed Swap! Visitors can bring their own seeds and trade them with our collection!
  • Learn from our exhibitors showcasing their expertise on seeds, native plants, gardening, pollinators, locally grown sustainable foods, and more!
  • Participate in and enjoy gardening and urban agriculture-themed activations including the Garden Tools Free Market!
