Evergreen's Measurement, Evaluation and Learning team is working to build projects and processes to help measure and report on the impact of our work. We anticipate creating a number of volunteer opportunities to support this team and work. 

In 2024, Evergreen created a "Craft Club" in support of site-based arts and crafts projects for use in events, activations, and public engagements, while offering a moment of connection at the same time. During quieter seasons, “Craft Club” volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in occasional social events and skill-shares to keep the fun going. 

Year-round | Building a more sustainable food system starts with restoring the connection between food producers and food consumers. Support our weekly Farmers’ Markets, workshops and other programming to celebrate food, share meals, and build life-long skills.

Transform youth through the power of nature! Apply your facilitation skills to support experiential activities and free play with an approach that is place-based, ecological, hands-on, physically active and arts-infused.

With more nature than any other city of its size in the world, Toronto offers children and youth an ideal environment in which to uncover the wilderness that lies within our urban landscape. Volunteers will work alongside staff to lead outdoor education programming for campers aged 6-12 years old.

Year-round (at different capacities) | Be a part of keeping Evergreen Brick Works green! Urban ecology and agriculture volunteers are a key part of our site. Volunteers can be helping weeding and caring for the gardens, growing sprouts in the greenhouse, or wrangling the worms and creating some hardy compost.
