Pitstop Program Volunteer
Pit Stop is a strengths-based re-engagement program offering young people the opportunity to work on small engines and cars and other hands-on activities under the guidance of industry professionals.
Pit Stop operates Tuesday - Thursday, during school term.
Volunteer activities may include:
- Support the Lighthouse team to supervise young people attending Pit Stop in hands-on activities.
- To ensure young people work in a safe manner adhering to all workplace WHS policies and safework procedures at all times.
- Build a positive relationship with the young person, be a positive role model and provide non-judgmental support to the young person.
- Provide feedback to the Pit Stop Program Coordinator on the young people and the program in a constructive manner.
