Family Haven volunteer
The Mooroopna Family Haven provides a welcoming space where parents, carers and children can relax. Staff and volunteers provide the opportunity to share a meal, connect with other parents and provide referrals where needed.
The Family Haven is open Tuesday - Thursday, 10am - 2pm
Volunteer activities may include:
- Supporting parents and their young children.
- Ensure children engage in safe and friendly play.
- Build a positive relationship with parents, be a positive role model and provide non-judgmental support.
- Assist with cooking, gardening and other tasks as required by the Family Haven Coordinator.
