The mission of the Legal Services team is to provide free or low-cost direct legal services to our most vulnerable community members. We are a multidisciplinary team with Immigration Law and Disability Law units. The Immigration Legal Services team assists immigrants and refugees with citizenship, asylum, green cards, employment authorization documents, visas, DACA renewals, Temporary Protected Status, family-based petitions, deportation defense, and more. The Disability Legal Services team assists immigrants and refugees with disabilities in achieving social security benefits and becoming self-sufficient. Legal Services generally look for an(unpaid) intern, data entry volunteer, and many roles for short term projects withing the Legal services.
