IRCO Vehicle Clean-Up Project  

Locations:  IRCO Main Office – 10323 NE Glisan St, Portland, OR 97220 (side gravel parking lot) 

Date/Time/Shifts:  MONDAY APRIL 20 ~3 hours per shift

 

Program Area: IRCO Facilities / Vehicle Fleet – supports programs agency-wide by maintaining vehicles used for community member transportation. 

 

Project Description: This project supports the IRCO Vehicle Fleet Team in maintaining clean, safe vans used by Senior Services, Youth Programs, the Donations Center, and other agency-wide programs. A well-maintained fleet ensures welcoming and reliable transportation for community members.   

 

Volunteer Position Summary: A group of 4+ volunteers will vacuum floors and seats, wipe down interior surfaces, remove trash, and help maintain a clean and organized fleet of 4–5 vans. IRCO Facilities staff will provide onsite support, cleaning supplies, and necessary PPE. 

Qualifications & Requirements:  

  • Able to perform light physical tasks (bending, lifting, standing) 

  • Comfortable working outdoors 

  • Closed-toe shoes required
