Schedule: Shifts: Tuesday 9:00am-12:00pm

Wednesday 9:00am -12:00pm

Thursday 9:00am-12:00pm

Friday 10:00am -12:00pm or 1:00pm -3:00pm (if there is a group to join)

Program Description: 

The New Beginnings Market serves as a one-stop shop where IRCO clients can access essential household items, furniture, hygiene kits, and more. The goal is to offer resources in a welcoming, empowering “shop-like” environment as part of our culturally responsive wraparound service model. 

Position Summary: 

Volunteers will support organizing donations in the warehouse:
• Sort, fold, and hang clothing inventory 
• Sort and organize furniture and household items 
• Sort and organize personal care items 
• Process and track new inventory 
• Prepare welcome kits 
• Help tidy the warehouse

Requirements: 

• Must be 18 or older 
• Must complete provided warehouse safety and lifting training. 

Time Commitment: 

Long term (at least 2 months 3 hours a week)
