Purpose

Hebrews 13:16 says, “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” We regularly take the women out on outings. Our program is looking for individuals who would make themselves available to drive the bus and take the women to various destinations. (NOTE – even one-way service would be appropriate and helpful – even just bringing the ladies to the destination would be helpful.)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip 
• Pick up and drive residents safely to and from the destination
• Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up to date on road conditions 
• Provide legal documentation regarding license/insurance to UGM headquarters AND submit appropriate mileage reimbursement requests directly to UGM

Qualifications and Skills

• God fearing 
• Class 4 License
• Strong driving skills  
• Ability to drive in various weather conditions  
• Customer service and interpersonal skills  
• High level of patience, compassion, and empathy in a non-judgmental environment  
• Good working knowledge of the area
