Baptistcare Gracehaven Residential Care - Rockingham - Church Service Volunteer role
Baptistcare offers a range of Pastoral and Spiritual Care services to residents in our facilities and also Homecare customers.
One key spiritual care activity that many of our resident’s love is to attend regular church services, usually run on a regular day during the week. As a Church Service Volunteer, you will be helping people connect and reconnect with important aspects of their Christian faith. Our onsite chaplain will work with you to link you in with other Church Service Volunteers and to provide support as required. This is to ensure there is a coordinated approach in the facilitation of regular church services at our residential care facilities.
Requirements for the role include:
- An active Christian faith with a recommendation from your church
- A valid National Police Clearance
- Evidence of a current influenza vaccination
- A signed declaration and consent form
- Mandatory training requirements include Infection control, COVID19 (Infection control, COVID19, Introduction to our organisational values and Spiritual Care training)
