We strive to provide healthy food and groceries to all in need. There are a variety of ways to volunteer and you can find all the details here.
**We currently do not have any weekday morning volunteer needs at both locations. Please consider helping us during an afternoon shopping shift (3:30p-7p) or Saturday mornings (8:30a-12p).
Biggest Needs are the following:
Mondays 3:30p-7p at Watertown
Saturdays 8:30a-12p at Waconia

Do you have a welcoming smile and an open heart? Welcome visitors, explain how the pantry works, answer questions, and assist visitors as needed.
Help while we're open to the public for shopping. Volunteers will do a variety of tasks including checking shoppers in and out, stocking, and minor cleaning at the end of the shift.
Help our shoppers set up appointments by phone. This would be at the Waconia Food Shelf. Wednesdays 9-11am

Volunteer as one of our drivers and drive around Waconia picking up food donations from community partners and delivering them to the Food Shelf warehouse.
After you get back with the donations, you will weigh the items and help put the cold/perishable donations away.
Valid driver's license and car insurance required.
Don't mind delivering groceries to doorsteps? We delivery groceries to residents within our service area once a month! Join our team!
We aim to deep clean all our shelving regularly to ensure a clean and safe shopping environment. Cleaning supplies are provided.
Outgoing and energetic people are needed to represent Gather and Grow at community events (in Waconia & Watertown), promoting donations and volunteering needs and encouraging people with a need to use our services. Events are typically in the evenings and weekends throughout the year.
Can't wait to get into the office? Create a positive Food Shelf experience by completing behind-the-scenes tasks as a member of our amazing Volunteer Squad. Tasks include filing, data entry, record keeping and other administrative tasks.
All hands on deck! Help behind-the-scenes at various events to raise awareness of food insecurity in our community.
