Volunteer Drivers

Role Description

Volunteer drivers are the backbone of our community care services. You'll help ensure our staff and services reach those who need them most by transporting:

  • Staff between CLCH sites.

  • Nurses on home visits to patients.

  • Medical equipment between locations and to patients' homes.

Locations

  • Pembridge Hospice, Westminster (and vicinity)

  • Barnet (and vicinity of N2)

  • Borehamwood (and vicinity)
  • Harrow (and vicinity)

  • Kensington & Chelsea (and vicinity)

  • Hammersmith & Fulham (and vicinity)

  • Wandsworth & Merton (and vicinity)

  • Watford (and vicinity)

Availability

  • Monday - Sunday, 4 Hours per week

Help us deliver care in the community

  • Driving safely and reliably.

  • Providing a courteous and professional demeanour.

  •  Following established routes and schedules.

Desirable Qualities

  • Access to your own reliable vehicle in good working condition.

  • Valid driver's licence and appropriate car insurance coverage for volunteer activities.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Patience and a caring personality.

  • DBS Required

  • Minimum 6 months commitment
