Patient Engagement Volunteer
The Health Visiting Teams in Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea offer services at home and in clinics for children and families across the boroughs. The team are keen to do an overall evaluation of their services and find out what patients and families think is working well and what could be better.
They are looking for a volunteer to support gathering this information through surveying clients in the clinic areas and over the phone. The hope is the volunteer will be dedicated to gathering this feedback and supporting the analysis to help the team reach more patients.
Availability
This role is available Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm. Shifts will be for 4 hours per week.
Location(s)
- Queen’s Park Children’s Centre (W9 3AL)
Role duties:
- As part of the team, you’ll meet and greet visitors to our busy Health Visiting clinics. You’ll guide patients to the waiting area and offer assistance and refreshments while they wait.
- You’ll engage patients and families with the service’s evaluation survey, explaining why the team are looking to hear from families and how their views will help to shape changes for the service.
- You’ll support the completion of surveys by patients and families, answering queries.
- You’ll also contact previous patients and families over the phone and explain the survey and evaluation project to them, encouraging them to take part.
- You’ll help patients and families to complete the survey over the phone
- You’ll help the team to review the feedback and gather trends and learnings
Skills and experience:
- You’ll be confident using social media, apps and tech
- You’ll have experience with tools like Canva to create branded content
- You’ll be interested in creating content, news items and researching relevant content
- You’ll have an interest in sexual health and empowering people to access services
