Group Support Volunteer - Stroke Café Finchley

Role Description
Help create a welcoming and supportive environment for patients attending the Stroke Café Groups in Finchley. You'll chat to service users and encourage them to engage in conversation as part of a group or on a 1 to 1 basis.
Location : Finchley Quaker Meeting House, 58 Alexandra Grove, N12 8HG
Availability : Every Thursday from 1pm – 3.30pm
Help the Stroke Rehabilitation service
- Create a friendly, welcoming, and helpful environment at the regular conversation groups.

Offer directional advice and practical assistance to patients and visitors.

Encourage patients to participate and get the most out of the classes by spending time talking with them.

Motivate patients during the class to participate.

Help patients engage with the social aspect of the classes to combat loneliness.
