Come and support the Urgent Community Response Team as a driver ensuring our nurses & therapists get quickly and safely to their home visits in Merton. We are looking for a safe, reliable and enthusiastic volunteer who has a pasion for helping patients access outstanding local healthcare.
Your support will directly impact patients across the borough ensuring NHS staff are able to maximise their time and provide support to as many residents as possible.
Availability
4 hours per shift between Monday to Friday 9am – 7pm
Role duties:
- Driving nurses from Merton Civic Centre to local home visits
- Ensuring safe handling and transportation of clinical equiptment
Skills and experience:
- Holds a valid driving licence and has access to a car
- Is reliable, independent, and able to work unsupervised
- Is physically able to lift and carry equipment safely
- Has good communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude
