Event Support Volunteer - Talent Pool 2026 Launch - make a difference in a day

Who will see the difference? Our motivated and ambitious staff members joining the 2026 Talent Pool cohort
We're excited to celebrate the launch of our Inclusive Talent Pool - an initiative designed to support our trust's staff recruitment and retention efforts. This event honours volunteers who have successfully completed a rigorous selection process to join this motivated group.
In addition to the volunteering task with the Trust, the volunteers will have the opportunity to:
- Network and engage in open discussions with these motivated talent pool members
- Have an overview of the development opportunities available to permanent staff (should they wish to be permanent in the future)
Don't miss out this fantastic opportunity to meet with these ambitious staff and see how the trust supports staff developments.
The volunteering activity
The Welcome event is happening at the Broadmoor LDC:
- Session (10:30 – 15:30)
We will require support with;
- Registration
- Setting up the tables
- Support in refreshments provision
- Distribution of material content
- Clear down end of session
Considerations
You are likely to be on your feet before and after the event on the day, some lifting and moving of equipment maybe required.
The volunteers will be able to share a ride (to and from the event) with the Talent Pool Lead, leaving from the Trust HQ, 1 Armstrong Way, UB2 4SA (Leaving Trust HQ at 8:00am sharp). We expect to return to Armstrong way approximately for 4pm (or earlier) if you are looking to come back with us.
Lunch will be provided.
