Smoke Free Community Campaigns  - make a real difference in 3 hours!

You will be allocated to one location on the day

Timings: 1100 - 1400

Volunteers: up to 4 volunteers

Who will see the difference? Residents of Ealing borough currently smoking and experiencing health inequalities 

We are working with Ealing Council to deliver outreach campaigns to help residents manage their smoking habits. The aim of these events is to engage with the community, provide information on the benefits of quitting smoking, and connect residents with our support services. This is a great opportunity to help individuals improve their health and wellbeing while addressing health inequalities.

We are looking for volunteers to support our smoke-free outreach events and campaigns. Your role will help engage with the community and provide information on the benefits of quitting smoking.

The volunteering activity

We will require support with;

•  Engaging with residents to raise awareness about smoke-free services and support available
•  Providing information and encouragement to individuals on their quit journey
• Offer your understanding of cultural perspectives on smoking to improve service relevance to the community where relevant. 

Considerations

During the events there will always be a tobacco dependence specialist and health improvement practitioner available to support with any queries. There will also be a debrief after each event to offer support to our volunteers.
