Urgent Care

Volunteers are often the first point of contact for patients using Urgent Care.  Volunteers ensure patients are in the right locations for their needs and work alongside the Triage staff to ensure patients are seen as efficiently as possible.  Volunteers who work in Urgent Care must have a calm demeanor and a proven ability to maintain composure in stressful situations. Volunteers are responsible to ensure that patients and their families are as comfortable as possible during their visit, and that the waiting room remains a safe environment for all.  The Volunteer will also have additional duties related to patient transport and restocking storage areas.
