Advocacy - Paihia Christmas Parade
Project Island Song are excited to be taking part again in the 2026 Paihia Christmas Parade!
This year's theme is:
🎪🤹 The Circus Is Coming to Town 🤹🎪
This year's theme for Paihia invites participants to embrace the magic of the circus. Think bold costumes, playful performances, clowns, acrobats, circus animals even (as a throwback to circuses of the past), and anything that brings the big-top energy to life on the streets of Paihia.
Three trophies will be up for grabs: Best Overall Float, Best Community Float & Best Business Float.
We're looking for keen volunteers who don't mind dressing up in our cool new animal costumes and walking, dancing, playing and riding along the street together in the parade. All you have to do is have a fun positive attitude, a bit of energy and wave to people for a few hours!

The Paihia Christmas parade will be on:
- Friday 4th December
- Approx. 5pm - 7pm
- Around the main streets of Paihia
We will send through further details closer to the date of the parade.
Qualifications Required
- Keeping you (Health & Safety) and the islands safe (biosecurity) training - compulsory Must be at least Completed
