Community Engagement and Special Events

We are currently in need of volunteers to assist with pre-event setup on Friday the 20th for the Chinatown Spring Festival Parade. Please see below for more details: 

Role: Spring Festival Parade Setup Volunteer

Date and Time: Friday, February 20th from 1:30pm-5:00pm

Location: Meet at S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Head Office (28 West Pender St, Vancouver), and will travel as a group to the Chinese Benevolent Association (5-minute walk)

Duties:

• Help carry Parade materials to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Head Office, such as ropes, vests, banners, tents, etc.

Qualifications: 

• Ability to carry 20 pounds or more
• Okay with walking and standing for decent periods of time
