Community Engagement and Special Events

The 41st Annual Walk with the Dragon is returning on July 19, 2026, at Lumbermen’s Arch, Stanley Park. The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation is thrilled to welcome the community back for this signature event in support of vital S.U.C.C.E.S.S. programs. This year, our fundraising goal is $425,000, helping us continue to serve and strengthen our community. Join us as we come together to celebrate a vibrant community and support a great cause!

Before the event day on July 19th, we are needing PRE-EVENT LOADING-IN AND SETUP VOLUNTEERS on Saturday, July 18th. Please see below for the details: 

PRE EVENT Loading-in and Venue Setup Volunteer (Pender office + Stanley Park)

Date/Location/Time: Saturday, July 18th

• 10:30am-3:30pm (Meeting at SUCCESS Head Office (28 West Pender St Vancouver), then moving on to Lumbermen's Arch, Stanley Park Vancouver. We can accommodate some transportation to and from venues, prioritizing those who used transit)
• 11:30am-4:30pm (Meeting at Lumbermen's Arch, Stanley Park Vancouver)

Duties: 

• Load materials from our Pender office and storage to Stanley Park
• Assist with setup in Stanley Park
  • Set-up tents and tables, chairs, signage
  • Move supplies to correct areas and stations

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 20 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for a long period of time
• Minimum age 16 years old
