Coats for Kids - Coats for Kids - children's scarves (virtual project)
We are looking for volunteers (individuals, church groups, businesses, etc.) who are interested helping make fleece scarves which are distributed to children each year during our Coats for Kids event in the fall. The scarves are generally one pattern: 60 inches in length and seven inches in width with a four inch fringe (requires no sewing).
We are also looking for donations of fleece in order to make the scarves for the children. Please contact Kathy at our DHQ office at 317-224-1010 to make arrangements to drop off scarves and/or fleece donations.
Please note the dates listed on the schedule portion of this activity are simply for volunteers to indicate their interest/willingness to help make scarves or donate fleece. This is a remote volunteer project, and the listed dates are not specific dates to make scarves at our office.
