The SNAP Assist will primarily assist the SNAP manager at the information table with SNAP transactions. This will be part of the training to become a full SNAP Manager.  During the morning session this person will assist with set up for SNAP transactions at the info table and delivering of all signs and collection cups to the vendors. At the closure of the market, this person will assist with collection and counting of tokens from the vendors.

3. Video 2 - Basic Guidelines: explains how to prepare your store to accept SNAP benefits, including training requirements for everyone who works in your store, and describes how SNAP benefits can and cannot be used. (09:16:00)
4. Video 3 - Transactions and Payment: explains how you can obtain equipment for accepting SNAP benefits, and how you'll receive payment for a SNAP purchase. (04:16:00)
5. Video 4 - Information for Cashiers: provides an overview of SNAP for people who work in your store, describes the steps for a successful transaction and explains the DOs and DON'Ts. (10:25:00)

7. After reviewing the training guide and videos, volunteers shadow an authorized SNAP Manager or Volunteer to observe.
8. After observing an authorized SNAP Manager or Volunteer, spend one session handling transactions under supervision.
