We will be holding a food drive at the North Andover Stop and Shop on Route 114. Day of Service has traditionally packed existing groceries on Saturday for distribution to our neighbors during the coming week. Neighbors in Need has been impacted by increased cost of groceries and reduced supply from Greater Boston Food Bank and has struggled to get through the week with enough food. Help bridge the gap in the supply of food for our neighbors!

Neighbors In Need operates 13 food pantries strategically located in the neighborhoods of Lawrence, Methuen, Andover and North Andover. It serves at-risk families and youth in Greater Lawrence by providing food, diapers, formula, clothing and other necessities. Staff members work with clients to ensure they are accessing appropriate services, including SNAP and WIC benefits, and they counsel families as they strive to become self-sufficient. Last year, over 250,000 lbs. of fresh produce, basic staples and frozen meat were distributed to 1,200 families. Neighbors In Need has been serving the poor and hungry of Greater Lawrence for the last 40 years and has been closely connected with South Church since its founding.
